king pin tool

Alright I need what looks to be a 7/8" hex head that will take 600ft/lbs of torque?? Who has replaced kingpins and where did you get the tool????

I have used a hardened 7/8 coupling nut and a socket.

are the metal cones worn out? if not just replace the nylon cup and run it....I had a buddy that made his tool out of a bolt that fit down in the hex and welded an extension to it.... six states probably sells a tool for that, but what fun would be to do it the easy way

Seems tight enough, but the part is cheap just seemed like it was easy enough to replace it while I was in there....
