Im looking in to getting a (KJ) liberty but im having a hell of a time finding a place that carries a good line of after market parts like bumpers lifts etc. I have founds a few sites but they carry a limited amount of stuff. RRO in heber has a few parts but only stock one kind of bumper. I know there has to be a market for parts on these things they have been around for yrs. Anyone point me in the direction of a good site to look at?

I concider myself somewhat of a Liberty expert and the first advise I can give you is stay as far away from RRO as possible. Second, stay as far away from RRO as possible.

The place for offroad Liberty parts is Rock Lizard Fabrications http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/

They are located out of Colorado Springs and Marty and Troy are really great guys.
They sell several lifts which are a huge improvement over the lift that RRO sells. My Liberty came with a RRO lift and my front spring and struts were shot after 15k miles, luckily the dealer replaced them under warranty. I switched to a Frankenlift and it was a huge difference in ride quality.

Also I would suggest looking into getting a Diesel if you are considering getting a Liberty, they are well worth the extra money.

Lastly the main forum for KJ owners is http://www.lostkjs.com/ I have been a member over there for 6 years.

Despite all there drawbacks, Liberty's are great little rigs and with just a small lift and some tires they are very capable rigs. In stock form they can tackle some very difficult trails.

ARB makes a pretty sweet bumper Bear can probably hook you up at 4Wheel Parts....thats where I bought mine. ARB also makes an air locker for the 8.25 axle as does Detroit (all available through 4WP). Richmond makes 4.10 gears for the front and rear diffs an theres a Detroit Tru Track available for the D30A.

The best lift for a KJ hands down is called Frankenlift which uses OME parts (its the only lift option for a CRD) and is available though AllJ's http://boulderbars.com/

If you're going to buy a KJ, make sure it's a CRD, they can fend-off the haterz and brings teh sexay.

Snorkel from airflow and roof rack by Rock Lizard (there's one left to be built that is being sold for $600) I have a friend in CO that has an aluminum version he wants to be rid of too.

I should add that Marty from Rock Lizard is no longer producing bumpers and his business has shifted to more of a part-time gig mostly concentrating on perfecting his bolt-on SFA kit.

There's also Jeepin' by AL which offers a lot of stuff for the KJ. Most of their R&D has been correcting consumer complaints so I guess that's one way.... assuming you're at the end of the line that is. http://jeepinbyal.com/

Since JL posted his KJ, I should post the only pic I have of my KJ before my wife killed it on I-15. I loved that little thing, I got 27-30mpg on the highway and 22mpg around town. That's 10mpg better than the 3.7 gassers not to mention the CRD has alot more torque.

Also here's a pic of my yellow bumpers, it's too bad I never got a pic of it with painted fenders, snorkle, sliders, whinch etc. on the vehicle.
