After recently visiting the Holocaust museum in DC, I have determined that anyone who exaggerates or describes any person or situation as Hitler or Genocide deserves a swift kick to the berries.



But that's just my new recent political opinion.
I've thought such people should be locked in a theater and shown raw footage of the Holocaust and the Cambodia killing fields. Then let them out and ask them if words are genocide again.

You must not know the guy named Trump. Exact same thing.

I agree totally, it diminishes the actual cruelty and evil that it truly was. The more a thing is used trivially, the less it's worth.

That's exactly why they do it, some of them. Cheapen the effect of the word so that when they do it themselves it doesn't sound as bad.
