Maiden voyage ,snakes, af

Well at about 1 am sat 17th I got my buggy done enough to wheel.

so we headed out for its first trip, and big greens first trip

We got there and some of the boys from lowrangeoffroad wanted to go night wheeling, so we piled into the rigs that had lights and were ready to wheel, a little Sami, captain robs Toyota and Maddies buggy, 3 people in each rig.

everything went good through rattle snake , then at the ant hills robs yota died, Sami kept going , we tried I help rob

long story short Sami had issues , robs truck needs wiring harness, and Maddie spun a tire on the rim and went flat.


so 3 rigs got left on trail and we walked back to camp, was a long walk at 5 am.

next morning we saw coco's dad(sorry I don't know your name) and James unloading.



Maddie flagged them down they came to the rescue with tools and air and know how

Robby stayed an worked on his an went back to camp then headed to Wayne's world
maddie made it alot easier than me!

Then it was up constrictor

radiator rapids was real slick in the rain but nick is a great spotter and got everyone through , then I wasted time and tires on te nest bent a ruff stuff 1/4 inch link mount

then kranny made it up with his 300 inch wb And worn 37s it was an amazing show

then nick made it up in his buggy (this was also his first time out in it)


maddie tried for awhile

Maddie only had 1 rear shock and mine were sagging about 6 inches so hopefully next trip we can make the next at 117 inch wb sitting extra low doesn't help on the nest


So kranny winched us up

More rain things were getting slick after the nest

Back at home safe and sound got green truck up to 67 mph!

Sometimes when Maddies not around i mess around in her buggy , I sorta enjoy the auto tranny

Had so much fun that Monday when I found out I ha no work I decided to go up the canyon

Got rained on right before the top

Rain stopped so we decided to go to mineral basin Rock garden, ended up going to the top of the first rock face

Clean up sucked

Thanks it's Maddies but she lets me drive it . It sure is fun! Just wish it got better fuel economy!

its carls old runner. man that was such a fun trip! im still baffled my truck made it up eagles nest!

yup it was carls my buddy cassey has been having fun with it.. except the alternator went out that trip.

krany i have replayed that over in my head 1000 times and i still am amazed .. i think the axle wrap and bounce actually helped like it bounced you up onto the ledge

The nest is a fickle beast. One time I tried it and it was looking impossible. The next trip I cruised right up it. You'll get it

Yeah I think once its sitting the right height it will help alot also 3 of the tires only had like 10 miles on them so we will see

thanks! its my girlfriends 1981 international s series fun to drive , pulls great!, has a 446 gas v8 that drinks alot of gas!
