microsoft word???

ok so im wondering if in microsoft word if you can flip the text from horizontle to virticle, for example the signs people make that have the tear off strips at the bottom with there phone number for there business. any idea?

Just a return after each letter. That is the only way I know. I think that with publisher you can set words vertical. When you have done one you can do a copy and paste to create the others.

Really easy to do in Excel. If anything you can do the top in Word, and the the bottom tearoffs in Excel by feeding the same paper through twice.

It's easy in Word Chad, though I can't remember exactly how. I do however have one such sign sitting here somewhere, I could email it to you and you could just change the text.
 
Insert a table. Put in the number of columns and rows you need. Highlight the cells, right click, then select the text direction you need. Position the table where you want it on the page, then size to fit.
