I'm planning a trip for early August and was wanting to explore the area east of Kamas some more. Can anyone recommend trails/loops to go on, sights to see, that kind of thing?
Plans right now are to go over Strawberry Ridge via Hobble Creek and make our way through the mountains on the SE side. Then hopefully join up with 40 near Fruitland and go up to Currant Creek reservoir. After that I'm at a little bit of a loss because there's so much more to do/see, but I know I'd want to head north toward the Mirror Lake area.
Any tips would be great.
