Moab 9-11

Thinking about heading to Moab for the weekend. Plans are loose at this point but if anyone is headed down maybe we could meet up. This will be the first time in my truck, been lots before on a mt. bike. I just read glockman's trip report and it sounds similar to what I want to do. Fins and things to start out, maybe hell's revenge later. My wife has never been to Moab so we might wonder around a bit, go on some hikes, maybe go out to arch's. Thinking of leaving thursday evening or friday morning and coming home sunday morning.

I wish I could join you, the weather should be perfect. You've got a good plan. You'll want to buy this book when you get there (I recommend the spiral-bound one).




My two favorite mild, scenic trails are Long Canyon and Bull Canyon.

That book is great, you won't regret it. Even after visiting Moab over years and years I still refer to that book every so often.
