My dream to compete in king of the hammers

It a bucket list item really.. Even if it's just once. I kinda want to enter my 4Runner in the Everymans challenge stock class. Is this a good idea? Or is it just me dreaming and wishful thinking?

Just in safety requirements you'll be $5k+ just to bounce around the desert in a rock crawler. Save up the $ and do one of the spec class rental cars!
