My Jeep Safari Report

Finally getting around to posting a trip report. We were in Moab during the first half of the week and had a blast. I took my daughter and a good friend of mine and we arrived Sunday afternoon. We were a little too early to check into our hotel yet so we decided to head up to hells revenge. The weather was beautiful and the trail was near empty.

Tip Over Challenge

Monday we awoke, ate a ghetto continental breakfast and met up at the park to run Cliffhanger. The trail was a great mix of challenging obstacles and awesome scenery. I would not recommend this trail if you are afraid of heights

Tuesday we met up at 8:00am to run Golden Spike. I love this trail, its definitely one of my favorites. It does make for a long day though. We had a large group but moved at a pretty good pace, and our group was lucky not to have any serious breakdowns. My daughter tolerated 9.5 hours of being bounced around in the back seat better than I anticipated. Weather was perfect and the scenery was better

Wednesday I had plans to run Moab Rim, but the kids were pretty burned out of riding the trails. We decided to head over to arches national park. We spent the day hiking and enjoying the sun out of the Jeep, and headed home late afternoon. Was a great trip and some much needed relaxation. Cant wait to go back.
