I installed rear disks. After bleeding out the air the brakes still seem alittle soft. Do I need a different proportioning valve or master cylinder? Whats your thoughts?

read this a few times if want to get a headache from tech.

on my 99 xj I pulled the o-ring out of the porp valve. of course I have f350 disks up front and caddy's in the rear...

Someone on here had issues with 1 ton fronts and small rear disks, I don't know what the solution for that was, I think they put bigger calipers in the rear. There are a lot of factors in a break system. If you just swapped in disks from a zj or something, just grab the MC and porp from a zj and it should work great.

Bypass the proportioning valve and see if it makes an improvement. They control wheel lockup by reducing pressure to the rear under braking/hard cornering when the vehicles weight shifts off the rear tires.
If this make an improvement then buy the adjustable $35 wilwood one from summit racing (or ebay, etc) and run the rear line though it.
