I got my XJ (nicknamed Paul's Sister) about a year ago after dumping the E36 328is (Fraunkenbimmer). Since then I've been on Cherokeefourm learning more about the beloved Cherokee, and the ins and outs of getting the CEL to off.

Now that Paul's Sister is running smooth it's time to build. So if anyone has any input or parts I might want or need, drop me a line! I'm building from a bone stock 2001 Sport.

Thought I would update things a bit.

Over the holiday week I decided to lift the XJ. Stopped by Fat Bob's in my way down to Richfield and picked up a 4.5" lift. Then got some tires on some ugly American Racing Venturas but they where cheap and filled the need.

The build went pretty well. PB blaster and the new 24" breaker bar became my new best friends. I got hung up on the sway bar studs for a while and the drivers side shackle bolt that didn't want to come out, ended up just cutting the head off and pulling it out the other way.

It was immediately apparent that I need an sye (I don't like to t-case drop). After the lift the CEL came on gotta figure that one out. Drove up to Logan right after replacing the transmission mount. I was pretty surprised at how well it drove!

Still working on pictures.
