Hey, I am just starting on this adventure and I have a quick question. I went out on Friday with my kids just messing around in the dirt. I have an '01 Grand Cherokee without anything special on it. I found a mud puddle and stupidly jumped straight in. I know better than to do this, but I did it anyway. I sank up to my front fender in mud. My kids started freaking out when I couldn't get out of the mud puddle. Luck smiled on me and some young guys on four wheelers were able to get a tow strap and pull me out of the mud, I had to eat crow when I got out of my Jeep to thank them.
My question is, other than a tow strap and common sense, what should I put in an emergency kit that I could take with me when I go wheelin?
