New in Sandy

Just picked up a 93 Grand Cherokee with the 5.2L V8 from a family member for a smoking deal. There daughter did some suspension damage, so figured I would do a front to back lift while replacing the damaged parts. I have been into Drag Racing Cars and Bikes my whole life, and this is my first venture into offroad. I want something that i can drive on the street and take offroad but initially not to extreme. I am sure that will come later.

Not sure if any one is in Sandy that could come take a look at the rig and push me in the right direction. That would be greatly appreciated. I do the work on my cars myself, just getting back to welding after 10years so welds are still blah at this point. I will post pictures when I get to the house tonight.

Looks like some plans have changed, Will be just repairing the Cherokee for my better half so we can get rid of a car payment. Then I will be lifting my current 94 explorer. Will put up pics of that tonight.

sixstringsteve--I was just looking at that run. I may be able to go but no way will have a cabable rig ready by then.
