New Toy for Rock-Slide Engineering

Our new 07 Jeep Unlimited showed up last night at the dealer. They asked to keep it through the weekend to show it off. It is an Unlimited X with dual tops, power windows, and a few other options. Look for a build up thread on the project on RME. In our first week we are going to design, corner guards, front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, steering box skid plates and braces, new rear shock mounts, and decide what to do with the huge gas tank! We are then going to look at suspension options for going 5"+. We have some good ideas on a long arm set up. We will keep you posted on the progress. The rear seat is being sent off to Beard for a custom cover to match the new front seats they are building. After initial suspension is done being designed, we are putting 9" axles ft/rr in the Jeep. We are also going to build a coil over conversion for the front and anti rock sway bars as well. We have other items that will be in the works to complete the Jeep. We have 3 of the 2 door projects lined up as soon as they arrive.

Both are gone as of today. Seems that Tough Country bought a silver one.
