No Park in 700r4

So my tranny won't lock up. I put it in park and it will just roll, which is not good cause i put discs on the back and don't have an ebrake. What is wrong?? somebody more knowledgable than me help. TIA.

personally I'd call a tranny shop, I am sure they could tell ya right over the phone what the problem likely is. Trans-a-matic in Magna has been great to work with for me.

Sounds like someone put it in park while it was moving and popped the gear off. The shifter might be out of adjustment too.
