Hey all,
I guess I'm what you call a lurker. I've been a member of your site for about a year just browsing through your threads, mostly looking for info about trails and land use issues.
I finally decided to put in the $20 to support your organization so I thought I had better introduce myself.
I've been trying to be more active in land use issues lately. I've always done my part at writing letters, but have started putting up money toward "the cause" a little more lately. My wife got me a membership to U4WDA for my birthday, I've donated a little bit here and there to other organizations as well.
Been four wheeling in Utah for about 5 years. I HAD a '74 cj5, but eventually moved on to an '00 WJ in order to get my wife interested. She hated the old yellow cj5, something to do with lack of power steering, lack of power brakes, and then there was the incident of confusing reverse and first gear at a stop sign and simultaneously having the seat slide all the way back when she tried to push in the clutch. It took renting a Rubicon in Moab one weekend before she finally was willing to admit that 4x4s might be fun.
Anyhow, here's some photos of us on the trails.
