Alright so in my hurry to remove and replace my distributor on my 4.0 xj I didn't mark any points on the distributor and now can't get the thing to start. I know my timings off so what all do I need to do to get everything back to square one and get this thing going? Any help would be gladly appreciated.

remove the #1 spark plug
remove coil wire to avoid starting and/or getting zapped
using a finger over the hole have a friend bump the motor until you feel compression. use a compression gauge if by yourself.
turn the crank with a wrench until the balancer pully TDC marks line up.
reset timing as per FSM.

Thanks guys I'm gonna give it another try today but I think I'm having trouble finding the compression tdc mark. I'm probably 360 degrees out sometimes.
