Pirates 3

So we saw Pirates 3, it was about like the second one, pretty good but not fantastic. Too many plotlines again, too many pirates, but some pretty good special effects.





If you ask me, this film could have used a lot more Gore and a lot less Verbinski.

I had heard a number of bad to mediocre reviews so I went in expecting nothing special. Perhaps that is why I REALLY liked it, much better than I expected. Personally, I think the lack of gore and clever dialog really sets these movies apart from the plethora of violent action flicks out there. Not that I don't like those as well, but I see Pirates as a welcome change.
