evap canister mounted

All the original electronics work and there are no lights on the dash!

exhaust all mounted up. We found these great cats that fit perfect. The cool thing with the exhaust is it will come out in five pieces with cutting welds.

During the test runs it became evident that the brakes sucked! After looking at every option I happened upon the Jeep Wrangler J8 military JK. The J8 runs bigger axles, brakes and has a higher payload. Bought the parts which include the master cylinder and brake booster. The only issue with this kit (aside from the horrible install!) is there is not a provision for a clutch reservoir. The stock one uses the same res. for both brakes and clutch. I ended up using a SXS res. that works great. This has a larger diameter than the tera big brake kit and cost a bunch less even including the booster, win/win.

little update---- Decided to pull the manual tranny and swap in the new 8 speed. Grabbed a hp70 out of a Ram and Jeep speed shop swapped it in. Had to adjust the skid a little but overall it went in pretty smooth. the HP70 is about 5/8 inch longer than the getrag 238 and with the tranny pans hangs about 3/4inch lower. Still buttoning up everything but its in and running! Hemi 8 speed is how jeep should have made it form the factory.
