I am finally working on my jeep again so i decided to start a build thread. I bought this 98 tj in oct. of 08, when i bought it it had a 7" rock krawler kit on it w/coilovers in the rear, Tera 50 rear 30 front with 4:56's and arb's. It was my daily driver and after about 3 months of owning it i remembered how much i hated rock krawler kits. To make a long story short i bought a set of 60's and sold everything from underneath it. It has been sitting for about 10 months now until a few weeks ago. I decided to run tera joints and build my own arms. I want to keep it street legal so i am only stretching it a few inches.

here are some pics of the jeep before i pulled it apart, rear 60 w/truss done by rollover motorsports, tera joints for arms, 12 fox 2.0 air shocks for rear, ballistic brackets, stock dodge 17" wheels off newer dodge to keep the tires sucked in to keep it on the street, and jeep sitting on jack stands with 60's under it

more

first i took a piece of 3" pipe and cut it in half to notch the frame in the rear and weld it in for clearance for my air shocks i think it will turn out really cool especially cuz i have never seen it before, it was my uncles idea and since we have a ton of pipe it was easy to do.

Next are all the heims i got last week for my steering (thanks eric)

Nice, I am planning on buying new Baja SS seats and was wanting to build my own brackets so I didn't have to pay $99 a pop for each. But I haven't been very successful finding any pics from anyone doing it. My search is over. Thanks.
Looking good by the way, keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.

there was no way i was going to spend that much either i crapped my pants when i found that out. it was so easy all its only 2 pieces of angle iron with 4 holes in each piece let me know if you want anything engraved in the ones you build :) I also have all the measurements to make it easier for you if you want

Guess you didnt acheive the goal of the 1st. Thats a tough one.

Crappy on the misalignments. Oh well, guess they are cheap.

Looks good mang!

ha ha no way the first came way to fast for me to finish it but it should be done next week unless i fun into any more problems. I can still use some of the misalignments no big deal

Yeah I would love to get those dimensions from you. Save me from having to do any work:D
How much is it to engrave them?
