Currently putting a 2001 ranger cab on the bronco 2 frame with custom tube bed, tube winch bumper, sliders, 2.3 duratec 4 cylinder, M5od 5 speed manual transmission.

Soft spots are usually indicative of a head injury...

Did you have to swap in the d35 TTB front, or was that a heavier duty factory option? I know very little of B2s...

the bronco II got the d28 TTB, and the explorer got the d35 ttb, it is a direct bolt in upgrade to put the d35ttb from an explorer into a b2.

Mine it the red and grey with no doors in the fourth pic. It originally came with a 35. Long story short, I have had both under mine. Like bomber said " it is a direct bolt in upgrade".

yep some of the '90s got a d35, that had d28 outers right?

I don't think so. I can't remember. When I first built it, out if two different bIIs, one had a 35 and one had a 28. At one time or another both were under this truck. When I regeared I had an other 35 that came from my 4.0 donor. I regeared that one and put it under. So it s hard to remember what exactly was what.

It came from the factory with the dana 35 ttb. Only 1990 is the only year that I am aware of that came with the dana 35 up front.

So far just body removal from the ranger is all the progress so far Rico.
