random lug nut issue

I need to either locate, or have made, some lug nuts.

I need the ball seat style lug nuts to fit some military budd style wheels.

The problem is I need M22x1.5 thread pitch. All the lugs I'm finding are the standard lugs for hub centric wheels with the built in washer.

One solution is taking the Rockwell 2 1/2 ton front lug nuts and have them drilled and tapped to M22x1.5 or?

Ideas?

Ideally the outside size will be 1.5", and the inside M22x1.5 thread, with the ball style seat.

Im betting those lug nuts have 3/4" standard threads. While the lug nut shape is correct, I have the metric m22x1.5 thread pitch on my wheel studs.

You mentioned drilling and tapping standard lug nuts, so this would be a very cost effective source, and still give you the proper profile to match the rims. I don't know of any lug nuts in the U.S. that would have the metric threads - maybe try Google search for MAN or Tatra trucks?

Oh yeah. I read that as the ones I needed, instead of ones I could modify. Sorry about that!

I didnt think about euro trucks.

Basically im just putting lug centric wheels on a hub centric freightliner.
