Rear drive line

I just got done with putting the jeep back together and took it for a spin down the road. i had a sound like a locker click. I crawled under to check everything and found my rear CV shaft (double car.......Spelling) had some side o side play. The joints all looked tight and they did not have any movement.

Is it normal for the CV to have that movement or do I need to make a trip to the city to get it fixed??:-\

drive it till it blows up on you.

You may only need a rebuild kit for the centering pin of the cv. They are cheap. If you blow it up it will be expensive.

Rebuild it but buy the rebuilt one with the flange on it, its like 70 bucks but worth ur time

x2 on rebuilding it... Is this the part that went bad?
