I finally got around to pulling the old and busted flares off of my '85 4Runner and discovered the reason for the flares.
The PO did a repair with more than a quarter inch of bondo in some places causing major rust. It's too bad as this is the only place on the entire vehicle where the rust is more than surface rust.
I really don't want to build a fender and this seems pretty common, so can you buy this piece aftermarket? I don't really need the entire QP just the damaged fender piece.
