River drownings

I am getting really tired of hearing about all these kids drowning. Parents, don't take your kids near rivers.

Water and fire are two of the funnest things kids can play with. They are kid magnets.

No kidding I saw one in the news the other night where they were blaming the city cause there was a hole in the fence around the canal. Its sad don't get me wrong but its nobody fault but your own for not watching your kids.

Not a parent myself, but really?

Parents: Don't take your kids in the car, you may get in an accident.

Parents: Don't take your kids wheeling, they could get bit by a snake.

Parents: Don't let your kids go to school, other kids might have guns there.

I have kids, and they are fairly well-behaved, but there is no way in hell they're allowed within 50' of high water.

The rest of the stuff is just crazy talk.

Holy crap...that's it then. I absolutely abhor snakes. No more wheeling for us!

i am taking my kids to walmart to buy tubes to float the river today. teach them to be safe and know what to do. the smarter they are the safer they are.
