RME- Help me buy a HDTV!

Best Buy had a promotional 36 month no interest financing for the Super bowl. I am looking for a HDTV in the 46”-50” size and the less than $3,000. It’s going to be used for normal cable TV, DVD movies, and some PS2. So far my top contenders are the Samsung DLP 50”, the Sony 50” LCD, and the Panasonic 50” LCD. What do you guy s think? How does DLP stack up to LCD?

go DLP and never look back. It si far superior in clarity,color,and contrast ratio!!

Samsung, everything I've read has said samsungs are the best

my coworker just bought the samsung tanus DLP, about 50" or about that and he is beside himself with glee....did I just use the word glee...yeah I did...twice....anyway, he really likes it and for that matter so do I!! it is awesome and the DLP is super clear.

thanks, I was leaning towards the Smasung DLP just because its narrower and would fit my living room easier.
