Route Inventory and Travel Plan Comment Workshop by State Parks & Rec 6/22

All,

We are holding a route inventory and comment to travel plan workshop on June 22 (Monday) at the DNR building 1594 west North Temple at 6:00 to 7:30 PM. This is an invite for you and members of your club or organization who want to be involved in the travel planning process. This will assist with your comments in the upcoming year.
A few of these are American Fork Canyon, Tread Lightly/BLM Stakeholder meetings, San Rafael Desert Travel Plan, Richfield BLM District, inventory of 4,000 miles of off-highway vehicle routes in south central Utah. Cedar City RMP/Travel Management Plan, Manti LaSal NF travel management plan and Powell Ranger District travel management plan.
Your comments do make a difference. Come and learn how to comment, how to get on the notification list, when to comment, and how to know the areas that need comments.
We will also be doing the workshop at the CCOHVA Board meeting June 29 at 6:00 PM.
On June 30, July 1 and 2 we will be doing hands on in the field inventory, on the San Rafael Desert.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we can have enough materials available.
Thanks
Dale

This might be an excellent opportunity to cross communicate with other sectors of the off-road community. Also a good chance to get some valuable information and experience from some people who have been doing this for quite a while.

Very interesting. Really curious what they have on the table for AFC. With the FS MVUM established and AFCV collecting public input about future travel and management plans... I wonder how they fit in the mix?
