My little bro drew the late hunt a couple years ago for San Juan, we ended up down ther for 6 days before he got his. We covered a lot of ground, it's a pretty big area. We stayed in the camp ground up Blanding canyon and the only animal problems we had were giant squirrels. The elk were really high that year, especially for the late hunt, he finally got a nice bull that scored 338.. Not too bad and we saw a lady shoot a 360ish bull. Beautiful area and I enjoyed the scouting trips down there.

The best part of hunting for me is spending time with the family, sounds like you got at least one good story out of it!
