Got a new hair up my A$$ and so far this one seems ingrown. Has anyone ever seen a Solid axle nissan armada? I've seen plenty of Titans and most of them look pretty awesome. But i've never seen a SAS Armada. Mainly interested because I have a killer opportunity at one that's been wrecked up front and has some suspension and frame damage. Good Deal, Friend with a frame straightener, ingrown hair and the ability to say it's one of only a few or maybe the only one? HMMMM. Might have to call the bank and see if i've been a good boy!!! If anyone has by chance seen one i'd love to see some SAS Armada truck porn!

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Well after doing an engine swap in my Armada, I would guess it's never been done, because of how high you would have to lift it to get the axle to fit. It would not be an easy job.

It would be a large undertaking but very unique. I would say go for it. I would think the hardest part would keeping it a clean looking build. I have a Titan and think the engine, tans and tcase are very stout and could be a good build platform. The transmission is geared very low and requires very high gears in the axles to make up for it so you would have to run high gears or very large tires to make up for it. The ABS light on your dash would stay on all of the time, so you would have to live with that.

Currie makes a bolt in rear axle for the titan and could be easily modified for a Armada. This axle is available in the 9 inch and d60 flavor and even comes with the ABS tone rings.

Hope this info helps.
