Semi Truck

Anyone own a truck with a semi-truck fifthwheel plate and air brakes? I need to move a 47' houseboat. Boat is on a single axle gooseneck semi trailer. I am looking into private hire but I am sure that is a fortune. Boat only weighs about 13k.

This is what I would do then you don't need to worry about a CDL, and most othere laws pertaining to vehicle of this size. As long as this is your personal boat.

Thanks for all the replys. I will call hertz and see about renting. I would guess they wanted a rentee to have a CDL or class A. I'll find out.
