show me your mounts for dual batteries

i'm looking in to putting dual batteries in my CJ ,and wanted to see pics of what you've got or some ideas before i get carried away?
i already have some sheet metal to do some fab. for it just to the front of the stock mount.

I bought my mount about 8-10 yrs ago and it was way cheaper then this one from quadratec but it looks pretty much the same except mine doesn't have the bar going across the top to hold the batteries down... I will take a pic of mine later today and post it up...

Until then here is the pic from quadratec...

I didn't even think of removing the stock one and turning them side ways
(thats what i took from the pic)

Dual batteries fit right side up in mine. I have a big tray that was there before I bought it but due to Optima changing the way they do the side terminals I removed the top plate and have used a motorcycle strap and have had great success. Looks ghetto though. But it works. Factor in how much weight that really is and build accordingly. It really can put some stress in that area over all of the bumps.

so i checked out quad's site and copied one here's what i got:(

frist is lay out ,second is how does it fit,and last painted up:-\
i'm still needing to get some bolt downs and figure something to span
to tops.
i'm a little concerned about the heater hoses coming in contact with
the far side of the tray so i did some rounding the edge with the grinder
and using the stock mounts under to help support it:-\

We offer a variety of diffeerent battery trays. I have personally installed many in big projects that we have built. I attatched a pic of the one in bens comp buggy. I can get more pics if needed. Let me know if I can help.

might just see about a small square piece 1/4x1/4 give or take:sick:

got it all done and installed ,used marine still on the optima and then
hooked them to the face mounts ,then ran the starter and ground off the top post
