SM 465 and adapter

looking for a GM sm465 and adapter i have a 205 for it mid 70s to early 80's preferred but not picky need one for an experiment let me know what ya got call or txt jeff @8018570025

you should be picky
be careful, the trans needs to match the t-case, there was a split, 1978-earlier, and 1979-later. the 205 also needs to have originally been behind an sm465. meaning that you need to know what you have

basically is your 205 10 spline? or 32 spline? does it have the "figure-8" bolt-pattern?

I ran into this on mine, when I did mine with an sm465/np205

thank you for catching that B2 for some reason i had it in my head they didnt switch till the late 80's so to revize looking for 78 and older sm465

I had the exact same thing in my head. and I ended up with a mis-matched transmission, and t-case, glad I could save you some issues

There are at least two or three sm 465s in the JYs in Ogden. I am not sure of year or, if they are 2 or 4 wheel drive.
