small block chevy parts

I ended up with an extra summit racing protorque starter has offset bolts for a smallblock chevy asking $100.00 it is used but becnh tests fine, also have sevral other small block parts. tall alum. valve covers $30.00, moroso 7qt oil pan $75.00, stamped steel roller rockers $45.00 for the set, weiand intake spreadbore/square bore duel plane $50.00, predetor carb runs but could use a rebuild $175.00, set of small block heads not sure of the chamber or valve size $150.00 for the set, also have a block has a main knock in it not sure of what all is inside but if you had a crank and a set of bearings i am sure it is an easy fix $50.00 all parts are used and could do with a good cleaning

how deep overall is the 7qt pan? which side is the dipstick on?

8 1/2 inches from bottow edge of block to bottom of the pan and dip stick standard chevy driverside

"standard" ? they haven't made a driver side-dipstick sbc since 1984.

nonetheless, mine is an early block. and does need a drivers side. I will go home from work around 8:00, and measure when to see if that will be too low for mine. i'll let you know

stock oilpan is 7 1/2 from bottom of the block to the bottom of the pan and the motor it is on is late 60's to mid 80's style
