Jeep t-case swap to match passenger side diff.

I have a Dana 44 front axle that I'm swapping into my zj. The problem is it's a passenger side diff. I've been trying to research a good t-case swap and have been doing a lot of reading on the dana 300s. Any other suggestions? I know I will have to get an adapter but as far as the spline count goes I'm not sure.

Dana 300 is a good swap, but you might be better off finding a front axle that better fits the setup you've got. Find an axle from a newer Jeep Wagoneer (81-91 I believe,) or a half ton Ford (76-79) because they will both be driver side drop. Ford axle will be high pinion, so that's a bonus. Both axles are plentiful at junk yards, and can be easily had for around $150. That's a ton cheaper than a t-case swap.

If you're already going to the trouble of swapping front ends, it would be far cheaper to just install one that matches up with your existing t-case.
