Would this be a good replacement on a 2004 Wrangler to free up some ponies? What would it take to do an install? I wouldnt want to touch anything, just want it to turn on when it got hot.

For an additional fan or factory replacement?

The fan should cool enough, but you would have to research that. I have heard these flow around 4500cfm, but I have not tested that. You would need fan mounting brackets, plus a fan controller. These fans are wired for low and high speed depending on how they are hooked up. Fan shroud measures 22x17 (can be trimmed), with a blade diameter of 16.5".

Nice fans in my opinion

I've used these fans on multiple offroad rigs and they are a godsend... And for cheap. Easily moved enough air on my CJ-8 with a built 350 all day long in summer on the low speed setting!!!! No joke. Same story with my YJ after putting in a 406, I did put it on a hi-lo relay, but it never got hot at all, amazing.
