I don't remember who it was, but someone on here gave me a Scotsman ice machine last year (I'm thinking it must have been in the spring). It was in pretty bad shape due to a water leak that went unfixed for too long. The main plate that holds all the mechanics was all rusted out. I said I would let you know what I did with it. Well here it is! I made a new main plate, replaced all the hoses, did a bunch of cleaning, fabricated some missing parts, and painted it to match my garage. It works great now and my wife goes CRAZY for the crunchy ice. I don't quite understand it, but chicks really dig crunchy ice...
