Thank you SO MUCH!!! We went to dinner at Moab Diner Monday morning, and we anonymously paid for a Vets meal, as well as there whole table. Really it is a small thing for what they have done.
I have been on the receiving end of a situation like that when I was with my uncle and family. He was getting ready to ship out, so we went out to eat before he did, and some people came over, thanked him for his service, and told us they had paid for our meals. He was very grateful for what they had done, but they thanked him more.
Ever since 9/11, it seems like people care more for what our soldiers do for us, and our country. It may (and I am sure it did) have happened prior, but you noticed it a lot more after the fact.
