Some one plese tell me what the dash speaker size for a TJ is, and don't say 4 x 6. On sony it says 4x6 and I got a pair of blaupunkts off of ebay and they dont fit.

they're definately 4x6... but not all 4x6's are the same. http://www.visi.com/~tam/tjstereo.html (scroll down to #2). or upgrade to 5.25 using the offroadtoystore.com's bracket.

I don't think that you need to upgrade to a bigger speaker, just buy a better 4X6, I went with Infinity.

there is a mounting plate you use to fit aftermarket 4x6's. you can get it at circuit for like 10-12 bucks. Come see me tomorrow and I can show you.

Do certin 4x6's fit and others dont 'cause mine are too big, I cant get even them in.
What are the chances of you sending me a pic of the bracket since I am current in Virginia.
Also any thoughts on puting 5 1/4 in the front and modifiying the sound bar for 6 1/2's
