My 06 rubicon has descent brakes, but I want better for the front. I don't wanna get rid of my original 16" wheels. So in my persuit to find a better brake that's not aftermarket (I want something stock for parts replacement ease), I'm curious about the wj brakes. They have a bigger rotor and dual piston caliper. They clear 16" wheels. There's a 5mm difference in the offset that seems consistant with the wranglers post '99. And I think I can keep my stock hub. So here's the question. If I were to change the knuckles and brakes from the wj to my tj would my stock steering bolt up? Will the tj brake booster and master cylinder work? Can you see any other problems? What am I missing? Steering's my major concern. Wish I had access to a wj to make a side by side comparison.
