Just wondering where you guys buy your tools. I'm looking for good on-line deals and can't find what I'm looking for. I have tried Northern Tool but they are kinda limited. Looking for Hand Tools, Drills, Tap and Dies, etc.

I have also checked into Industrial Supply, but they are kinda pricy...

help..... :ugh:

Best deals are usually on the net but you cant get em that second. lol....

With my plumbing tools I use for work I go alot of places....
Industrial supply... Your right kind of expensive but when your in a pinch.....
For drills and grinders....usually just go to home depot...
Welding supplys/grinding disks... air gas...
Taps and dies, Quality drill bits.... Nut and bolt supply
Hole saws.... Fergerson plumbing supply houses (they have lenox and they last)
I hate to say it but even harbor frieght has its stuff.... Just stay away from thier grinding wheels they last about half as long as the air gas ones.... They may be cheep but thats how they work.....

What you looking for in particular?????

BTW how does one break a 1" tap without the help of a lathe

a drill motor and alot of bad luck.... Oh yeah and sore wrists after it twists you up a couple of times before it breaks....

I cant rember the hole saw prices but it wasnt to bad 8-12 bucks I belive. The lenox last a lot longer than any other I use. Both at home and work.

I might have to give those a try. I read the write up on POR about the cleanest cutting ones, but would like to get some that last.
