Toyota highsteer idea

Hey I may have some free time on one of the mills at my work and I'm thinking of making some Toyota high steer arms that have a flange that hooks the hydro assist up behind the knuckle on the long side. I have a few questions though. Anybody know the taper of the cone washers on top and the taper of an fj80 tie rod? Also does anybody see any problem with running the hydro behind the axle? Thanks for any help.

Don't see why it couldn't be done, 4x4Labs does a similar concept, they have the tie-rod behind the axle. I've got the 60/80 Series taper, I'll try and remember to take a peek at it tomorrow and get you the dimensions.

I donn't see any problem with it, I've been running the draglink behind the axle on my buggy, tie rod in front. I set-up one axle with both the tie rod and the draglink behind the axle. no problem.

I have some FZJ80 tie rod ends here in stock if you want ot borrow one to measure. I can bring it over when I come to pick up the other parts. LMK.
