Hey guys,

I have a slight problem. I know that many of you own or have owned Tacoma's, and I'm looking for some help with an electrical issue. When I press the brake pedal down, the left blinker will light up solid. When the brake pedal is released, it will go away. The left blinker works fine, until I press the brake pedal. It is a 2004 Tacoma, I have looked for some answers via other forums with little success:

Here is a video of my problem:

And yes, the blinker fluid is full. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

Are all your bulbs good?
Is it doing @ the fixture what the blinker arrow is indicating?
You are getting a ground from somewhere and I bet it's either in the trailer harness wiring or one of your brake bulbs is shorted or the receptacle is corroded and shorting.

Check that stuff and start pulling bulbs or fuses until it is eliminated.

Have you spliced in for trailer wiring? (any of it corroded/exposed)?

I'd check the rear, I thought the blinker and brake lights were different bulbs but I had an 97 so they may have changed things, anyway I'd do what SLC97SR5 said and pull the rear blinker bulb as a start.
