Last weekend Fender and I went backpacking in St. George. We started at the Red Cliffs rec area and hiked up to explore Yant Flats with a friend. 23 miles in 2 days, and he still had energy left. I, on the other hand, did not.

This is my worst video in a long time. I was trying some new settings on the GoPro (narrow FOV), and I don't love how it turned out.

School supplies. Binder, pencils, highlighters, etc.

He carries his leash, food and water for 2 days, treats, and poo bags.

Yeah, it was on my head. I'm ready to get another small video camera that has more flexibility for different shots.

Wow... I've been to Yant and I've day hiked Red Cliffs many times (mostly closer to Snow Canyon though...). I can only imagine that was some pretty rugged terrain along your route!

Yeah, it's definitely not a route I would recommend. Too many basketball size rocks, very slow, and lots of near-ankle sprains. It was a good opportunity to test out some gear though.
