I have a bit of an issue on the drivers side front tire on my trailer

As you can see, tire wear is not optimal.

I was thinking a bent spindle. Bearing was slightly loose when I pulled the tire off. Could cause wear but I’m not sure if that much.

So spindle isn’t obviously bent and actually LOOKS reasonably straight. I’m assuming this spindle isn’t serviceable and axle would need replacement?

plumb bob or framing square might give you a good idea of the spindle's relative condition

This is what I did on a single axle I used to have. A friend bent it on a pothole and it started eating at the inner part of the tire.

I cut out a majority of the spindle weld, then bent/straightened so that it matched the 'good' side using a framing square and a level, then welded back up. Cheap resolution on a shade tree job.
