turbo timing a 6.0 ford

has anyone installed a stand alone turbo timer on there 6.0 ?
and if so does it work well ? also what brand any help will be appreciated

My dad has one on his 6.0 and it works great. His is set up so when you apply the E-brake it starts the timer, but if you dont put the E-brake on the engine shuts off as normal. I couldn't tell you the brand unless I was looking at the unit.

The turbo timer is an HKS, and I think it is the type 0. Im not for sure but it looks like this: http://www.racinglab.com/hksturtimtyp.html The one pictured is the type 1, but it looks the same as the type 0

my turbo timer is built into my juice with attitude chip. It works off egt's and shuts down at whatever temp you want.

i went with the sct x3 programmer so theres no timer
