Nice Waggy How hard was it to do the front was it a bolt up or
did you have to do some fabwork. I have a J-4000 that I want
to do that with. What was the front axle

actually, the project is just getting started. yes, rocker protection, bumpers and roll cage are in the plans, but probably won't be done for quite a while. work is slow because I am at school and the jeep is at home.

I haven't done the front axle yet, but I'm hoping that it will bolt in without any issues. The perch width is really close to the stock jeep width, and I don't think it will create any problems. However, it looks like the rear is going to be a little higher than the front, so I might do a shackle reversal and level out the suspension at the same time. still undecided.

in those pictures, the front axle is a dana 30 in spring over configuration. total lift is probably around 6-7" in the rear and 5-6" in the front.

As far as the j4000 goes, I'm not sure if the spring mounts are the same as the wagoneer. If you look at the pictures, you'll notice that we had to fab new mounts for the rear springs because there really weren't any other options.

*edit*

oops, I forgot to add the link to the rest of the pictures.. http://www.mp3car.com/usersites/tom/tuck
