Worth a shot maybe?
I have a 2005 TJ Rubicon, pretty ordinary. Rubicon Express ?? lift, 33" tires, Fox blingy shocks in the front, some kind of bumper in the front with 12K winch (HF!), hardtop, soft top, bikini tops, rocker protection, lockers work excellent.
Bad stuff: Tire carrier is beat, salvage title (I rebuilt it), stiff suspension, one barely leaking axle seal, assorted scrapes and dents, one black fender, engine light on (told it is likely a leaking gas cap seal) holes in windshield frame from former life as a Jersey Shore stunt vehicle/beach cruiser.
The great: Er, I don't know, it's a Jeep. Works like a Jeep, drives like a Jeep. You get that great Jeep thing, whatever it is.
I bought it in Pennsylvania, towed it to Michigan and put a new Tcase in it, engine and all other drivetrain mounts, a handful of suspension parts, a hood, bumper, etc and whammo, it was street legal again. Moved to Utah with my grand dreams of rock crawling, and found out it was only really fun for a short while and I enjoy milder off roading more.
I want to trade it because I haven't driven it much in the last year, mostly only in the winter. I am currently using it to commute in, which isn't too bad, but not ideal. I already have an E350, but I think all I need in an off road vehicle/4x4 is the same van with four wheel drive. I lust after tall top 4x4 E350 vans and it's completely irrational. We use the heck out of it for trips, camping, climbing, etc. It seems like the only reason we still have the Jeep is that it is our only 4x4. I am hoping to trade the Jeep for a 4x4 van, then sell the van we currently have and I will have the one vehicle that does it all and one more spot in the driveway.
Doesn't need to be a great van, just functioning. Passenger, or at least has windows. Running preferred, but will consider one with the typical blown spark plugs. Must have 4x4. Tall top would be great. Salvage title is okay. No 4.6 engines.
Am I crazy?
Sorry for the small photo, I can do better if anyone really wants more.
I will throw in this Monoski.
See how useful it is?
Trailering to Utah.
This happened once.
And this, just once.
Tan soft top.
Has a roof rack.

If my pictures aren't showing up, say so. I have no way to tell, really. I can see them so I think I am doing it right.
