There is something to be said for one's service to his country. Loosing his life for the freedom of others speaks volumes about him. I have a new respect for flying my flag at half mast from now on, and especially with Memorial Day coming will help me to remember that it's not just another day off. I used to baby sit Cody and his siblings when we all lived in Ca. He was a great kid and had an awesome family. He will be missed.

Sad he has passed for sure, the way his dad described him sounds like Cody lived a very full and happy life and touched many lives. I fly our flag 24/7, 365 days a year, one of the biggest things I looked forward to when I became a homeowner was flying the stars and stripes over our walkway.
