I have a 74 Ford Highboy. I would like to switch to 16.5 wheels. Will a 16.5 wheel fit my bolt pattern which I currently have? I have 16" wheels on it now. Also will a 12.50 wide tire work on a stock wheel?

16.5 will fit fine as long as the bolt pattern is the same.

You can squeeze 12.50 wide tires on a stock wheel, but it also depends on the width of the wheel.

12.50 tires like to have about a 10 wide wheel, although 8 works fine.

I don't know why you would like a 16.5" wheel personally. They are becoming harder and harder to find tires for. Most tire manufacturers are not even making a tire for a 16.5" wheel. I would look at going to a 17x9 myself.

Not really looking for 16.5 tires. It seems all the tires I look at are 16.5 So what ever I find first at a reasonable price is what I"ll buy. 16 or 16.5, don't matter. The problem buying something off RME is I'm in nebraska, so have to ahve everything shipped....
