I purchased the following trailer from Jeremey King a month ago and have yet to receive a bill of sale and title from Him. Could someone please help me find him so that I can get this taken care of. He promised me the bill of sale and Title two weeks ago. Funny how people are not in such a hurry on their end when they are leaving others hanging. Please any help would be appreciated.BTW trailer only was 16ft. and the heavy duty trailers don't use a 2" ball.

Big Bubba Trailer

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have an almost new 18' Big Bubba car hauler trailer. It has been used maybe 10 times and is in great condition. Has hidden ramps, custom grey paint and the wood planks are still cedar color. This is a very heavy duty Trailer and tows awsome. I dont know how to post pictures but it is here in Provo so feel free to come and look at it.

I am looking to get $1500 obo. PM me or Email me @ jeremey_king@yahoo.com if you have any questions or if you want to come and look at it.

I would just go register it, fill out an afidavit (sp?) stating why you have no title and you do not need a bill of sale. You may have a few extra forms to fill out but its beter than waiting around for a flake.

BTW, I agree with Hickey...:D

Super, have you done that before? I've got a parts truck in my back yard with no title or bill of sale I'd like to get rid of. Anybody else went through this and have a solution.

I did a search on Dexonline.com for Jeremy King in Provo and had two results come up. One was in Provo and the other was in Lehi. Give that a try if you haven't already. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I am pretty sure it would be similar to registering a buggy (or anything homemade) for the first time. You would likely have to fill out that saem packet, have a vin inspection (to make sure it hasn't been reported stolen), and fill out a statement stating why there is no title (part of the packet). However, I have not had to do it before.

Also, FWIW they hardly ever use bill of sales anymore. Everytime I have taken a bill of sale in they always tell me they dont need it.

Go to the DMV, I have had to get titles on several vehicles...

The have you fill our a "Proof of Insufficient Ownership" form, state whom you got it from and a good description of the item.

They will have you fill out a VIN inspection (just call the Police and they will stop by & inspect).

Submit the paperwork and they will send you a title...

I just got done doing it on my FJ55, and have had to do it on misc. Cruisers & OHV's over the years.

Hope that helps...

I don't know...

Last year I traded my 3-wheeler for a street bike, the guy "forgot" the title, said he'd bring it by in the next few days. I didn't see him or hear from him for a month. I called the DMV and they said I would have to file for a lost title and that it takes a few months to process.

I don't know if it's different for a trailer or not. Did he deliver it to you or did you pick it up? I would go stop by his house if you know where he lives.

I don't know him alot, but I have met him, I doubt he's trying to screw you, but I understand your frustration.

:also, my trailer is pretty heavy duty and it uses a 2" ball

you can get it registered and all the paper work done right there on the spot (except for a vin inspection, unless you have a LEO come to you at the DMV) but to actually receive a paper title for it take a little bit of time. For my buggy I had it in less than a week, where its a lost title I bet they have to do a little more digging to make sure its not stolen or whatever so it may take a little longer.

The time it takes to get the title all depends...

Depends on where it was last registered, quicker if in Utah...

Depends on the information you listed on the insufficient edidence form, if the name you listed as the "seller" is indeed the last person that had the title in their name, it is quicker...

I beleive they contact the last indicated owner and ensure it was properly sold... if they cannot reach the owner, it may take longer.

In the case of my FJ55, they told me 90 days (if they havn't reached the PO, or got a stolen VIN call) they will now issue the title...

But, I went in two weeks later for my other Cruiser, and thought to ask, she looked at the paperwork, and issued me a temporary registration, title came a couple weeks later.
